Peter’s skill is in analysing scheme rules and applying COBS rules, regulations and guidance into practical case work.

Peter has worked in UK pensions technical roles continuously since 1987 and in that time has developed a deep and extensive knowledge of UK pensions legislation.

Over a career of 30+ in pensions technical support, his specialist expertise is in occupational pension rules and regulations, specifically in the application of rules and regulations within an occupational pension scheme framework.

Peter was a Trustee of a Final Salary pension scheme of a leading Insurance Company for a number of years, where he used his extensive knowledge of the application of rules and regulations (within the occupational pensions framework), for the benefit of members, trustees and employer.

Since retiring from that role, Peter has worked exclusively in support of EPC and EPA.

Peter will become an equity director of EPC in April 2023.

Peter is married to Gaynor with four adult children. These days he is only an avid watcher of sport and enjoys following a wide variety. His favourite is cricket and many years ago had the privilege of playing in the village cup final at Lords…What an experience
